Hi, I am Sander Lamballais.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Clinical Genetics department of the Erasmus MC.
My goal is to understand how the brain changes over a lifetime, and how function and disease stems from the biology of the brain.
I teach two courses of Genomics in Society (M.Sc.):
Research Design (8 ECTS, year 1)
Statistical Concepts in Genomics (5 ECTS, year 2)
Feel free to reach out if you:
want to collaborate or need a peer reviewer
want to learn more about genetics or neuroimaging
have questions about my work
How is neurodevelopment influenced by factors like genetics, lifestyle, and psychiatric symptoms? How does brain health lead to degeneration later in life?
What are the genetic architectures of psychiatric traits and disorders? How do they overlap, and how can we disentangle them?
Can we develop new ways to analyze existing datasets, such as neuroimaging, genetics, and xQTL? Can we derive new data altogether?
